Burn beautifully
Candle Care Guide
A little care goes a long way. Follow these simple rituals for an even melt, a stronger scent throw and every last hour of glow.
1. The first burn matters most
Burn for 2–3 hours the first time, until the melted wax reaches the edge of the jar. Soy wax has a "memory" — stopping early causes tunneling.
2. Trim your wick to ¼ inch
Before every burn, trim the wick to about 6 mm. This prevents soot, flickering and a mushroomed wick.
3. Never burn longer than 4 hours
Extinguish, let the candle cool for two hours, trim and relight. This keeps the flame safe and the scent fresh.
4. Safety first
- Keep away from drafts, children, pets and anything flammable.
- Always place on a heat-safe surface.
- Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains.
- Use a snuffer or wick dipper instead of blowing out.
5. Give your jar a second life
Freeze overnight, pop out the remaining wax, then wash with warm soapy water. Perfect for brushes, cotton pads or a tiny bouquet.
